Ask questions you have about your build.

I bought an IFC .410 upper and tried to use it on my Spikes Tactical lower. The holes and pins line up like they should, but the bolt will not function when attached to the lower. Something is too tight. I only have the one AR-15 so I can't try it on a different lower. I would like to buy a lower to dedicate to the 410 upper. I really don't want to modify my Spikes lower. This upper will not work on a DPMS lower according to the description. How do you determine where the fit problem is in this situation. Do you use some type of marking gel to see where parts are fitting to tightly? I have never built an AR so this is new territory for me.
